#BecauseWeWill is an interactive social media campaign designed to give learners an opportunity to share personal stories and build a sense of community, support, and belonging with other learners across the country.
The campaign raises public awareness about student struggles and amplifies the voices of learners across the United States. It aims to create a virtual community for learners to find mutual support and encouragement as they persevere on their own journeys.
By sharing their personal stories, learners create a network of support to inspire learners facing similar circumstances and are considered for a chance to win $1,000.
How to share your story
Plan and record your story
Once you choose a category, structure your story with a beginning, middle, and end. Record a short video (preferred) or write a short essay describing your story of perseverance to, through, or beyond education.
Share your story on social media
After you have created your story and submitted it here, remember to share it on social media using #BecauseWeWill - and tag us!
